Shorted Degaussing Coil

So far i have not come across any shorted Degaussing coil before but i do came across a leak (black tape open) degaussing coil that touches the cold ground (the metal that locked the PC Tube) that had caused the ELCB to trip whenever you apply the AC power. If you need to check on the condition of this coil, you can use a Blue Ring Tester to check it and it should have many LEDs lit. Assuming if the degaussing coil have problem you can always salvage another good coil from a junk Monitor and use it
