The common fault for this samsung 713n LCD Monitor was no display and OSD running with the word “Not Optimum Mode Recommended mode: 1280×1024 60Hz”. Many other users thought that it was setting problem but actually it was the fault of the microcontroller. You either replace it with a new IC that have programs in it or reprogram it with a programmer that support this 44 pins IC chip.
The shocking news is that not only this samsung 713n have this kind of problem, it also happen to SAMSUNG 153V and Samsung 510n! If all these SAMSUNG LCD Monitor came in with no display symptom, optimum mode, intermittent no display, and other weird problems then suspect this faulty microcontroller
