Remember To Write Down The Electronic Repair Solution

Yes, i always write down all my electronic repair solution in a special book. The parts that i have replaced, the method of finding faults, how to read certain circuits in schemtic diagram, the equipment brand and model and etc. We as human being sometime cannot remember so many thing and we need to write it down for future reference. Can you still remember how many parts and what are the parts that you have replaced for the equipment model………last two years ago? I guess you may already forgot about it. With just a simple reference from your book, you can tackle the fault or problem in less than couple of minutes!

The way i do it may be different from yours. Whenever i solved a problem (assuming i do not have a schematic diagram) let’s say it was a defective transistor. I will draw up the particular circuit (just like doing a reverse engineering job) with all of the connected surrounding components in it. I will begin to analyze why this particular faulty component can cause this or that problem. With this way i will have a deeper understanding about a particular circuit. Although it may take lots of my time for drawing and writing such solution in a book, let me tell you my friend, it really worth it.

If you haven’t start writing any solution to a book yet, i urge you to do it now as this way can truly help you to understand more about electronic troubleshooting
